One of the obvious places to start is a question.  One of the most helpful ways to end is an appropriate answers.

 

-Why is my pump loud / noisy?
This is usually a bad motor bearing, and may require a pump replacement.

 

-Why is my pressure gauge still reading high even after I backwashed my filter?
Some issues could be:
• Sand needs to be changed every 3-5 years
• Too much D.E., grids need to be cleaned
• Cartridges need to be acid washed

 

-Why is the top of my heater turning black?
The heat exchanger is clogged with soot and needs to be cleaned.

 

-Why is there a bubble in my liner?
There is water behind the liner, which is usually caused from a leak in the liner itself, or in the plumbing return lines.
